On the front side of the wheel, split wide open one side the valve stem hole with a cold chisel and hammer (see Figure 1a).

On the back side of the wheel, split wide open the other side the valve stem hole with a cold chisel and hammer (see Figure 1b).
3.
On the back side of the wheel, apply a bright-colored paint around the valve stem hole for identification purposes (see Figure 2a).
4.
On the front side of the wheel, apply a bright-colored paint around the valve stem hole for identification purposes (see Figure 2b).
Identification of Nissan Steel Road Wheels
Nissan steel road wheels can be identified by looking at the manufacturing date codes that are stamped in the front side of the wheel (see Figure 3). Steel
road wheels produced on or after June 19, 2001 (19F01) are not affected by this campaign.
