SERVICE INFORMATION

The paint on the left and right rear side ornaments may peel off on some early production 1987 Sentra Wagon (B12) models. The ornaments are located
at the lower rear corner of the back side window (Figure 1). An improved ornament has been applied to production vehicles, starting with the VIN listed
above.

In addition, some vehicles built prior to the Applied VINs have been modified at the port. This Technical Bulletin contains a Service Procedure to
replace the ornaments for all vehicles built prior to the Applied VIN, and delivered to dealerships prior to April 8, 1986.
If our sales records indicate that your dealership has been shipped any of the affected vehicles, you will receive:

A VIN listing of the involved vehicles received by your dealership.

Countermeasure left and right side ornament for each of these vehicles.

If any of the affected vehicles have already been sold, please contact the customer and ask that they bring in the vehicle for ornament replacement. Please
inform the customer that this is a free repair.
