FIGURE 2 - ORNAMENT

SERVICE PROCEDURE

1.

Insert a .095" diameter piece of welding rod with a 90~ "hook" at one end under the ornament. Then pull outward until the retainer clips come out
of their retaining holes. The hook must be positioned at the center of the ornament (Figure 2).

CAUTION: Do not pry the ornament from the vehicle. Use of the hooked rod will prevent possible damage to the window and/or side panel surfaces.

Check that the retainer clip gromments come out along with the old ornament. If not, carefully remove them with pliers, being certain not
to scratch the vehicle surface.

2.

Pull the rear of the ornament out of the retaining hole.

3.

Install the countermeasure left and right ornaments.
