SENTRA A/C HIGH PRESSURE HOSE INTERFERENCE

SERVICE INFORMATION

During routine inspection or service on any 1987 Sentra, it is important to inspect the A/C high pressure hose to assure that it is not too close to the
exhaust air injection tube on the engine. Such interference could damage the high pressure hose.

The high pressure hose should be no closer than 3/8" from the exhaust air injection tube. If it is closer, use a tie wrap at the radiator fan motor bracket as
shown in the following illustration to pull and hold the hose away from the exhaust tube.
