SERVICE INFORMATION

The air conditioning high pressure hose on some 1987 Sentra (B12) models with factory and port installed air conditioning is positioned too close to the
exhaust air injection (E.A.I.) tube (Figure 1). This could result in damage to the high pressure hose. This Technical Bulletin contains a Service Procedure
for re-routing the hose away from the E.A.I. tube.

Vehicles with factory installed air conditioners built prior to the Applied VINs will require the following special Service Procedure. Vehicles built after
the Applied VINs will include a modified high pressure hose and do not require the Service Procedure.

AIR CONDITIONER KIT MODIFICATION

Beginning with the serial number shown below, 1987 Sentra *B12) Air Conditioner Kits will contain a tie-wrap and a revised instruction sheet that
includes the tie-wrap application.
