SERVICE INFORMATION

Some 1987 Pulsar NX and 1987 4WD Sentra Wagon vehicles with the E16i engine, may experience an overheated ground wire in the main harness,
between the mixture heater (connector 43M) and the body ground (connector 31M). The routing of this ground wire is shown below.
If this incident occurs, remove the mixture heater and check the bottom side for signs of damage to the heater grid. If any damage is found, replace the
mixture heater. If necessary, repair or replace the damaged harness.
