Raise vehicle about halfway up on hoist being certain to use the appropriate lifting points (Figure 3).

Remove both front wheels.

Disconnect both tie rod ends from knuckle arms, using the appropriate separating tool (Figure 4).

Raise vehicle all the way up on hoist.

Remove right and left stabilizer rod rear mount clamps (Figure 5).

Loosen the A.I.V. tube mounting bracket.
