Manual Valve

3.

Remove the manual valve from the valve body to prevent it from dropping out accidently (Figure 2).

Remove lock-up body from valve body (Figure 3).

5.

Remove speed cut valve spring and replace with new spring (31794-01X00) (Figure 3).

6.

Install the lock-up body to the valve body.

7.

Install the manual valve into the valve body.

8.

Install the valve body into the transaxle. Torque bolts to 5.1 - 6.5 ft.lbs. (0.7 - 0.9 kg-m).

9.

Install the transaxle oil pan. Torque bolts to 3.6 - 5.1 ft.lbs. (0.5 - 0.7 kg-m).

10.

Add new transmission fluid (DEXRON type) up to the proper level.
