SERVICE INFORMATION

Some early production (see affected VINs below) 1987 Sentra automatic transaxle vehicles may experience driveability incidents during the torque
converter lockup mode at 42-46 MPH.  The incidents are 1) a slight surging during acceleration and, 2) a vehicle jerk when partially releasing the
accelerator.  A modified speed cut spring is available to correct these incidents.  The modified spring has been applied to production vehicles after the
VINs below.
