SERVICE INFORMATION

Starting with the Applied Date above, 1987 Sentra 2WD vehicles have been manufactured with a new rear wheel bearing lock nut retention system. For
improved serviceability, an adjusting cap and cotter pin is now used on the lock nut. In addition, the shaft end has been slightly modified to accept the
cotter pin. Please note also that the wheel bearing lock nut torque range has been reduced. The subject components are highlighted below.
