Rubber Run

AFFECTED VEHICLES: 1987 Sentra (B12) Coupe

SERVICE INFORMATION

Some 1987 Sentra (B12) Coupes may have an air leak noise at the window rubber run.  The noise occurs because the window glass does not properly
seat in the rubber run when the window is rolled up. Upon inspection, if the window is observed to contact the outer edge of the rubber run (see Figure
1), use the following Service Procedure to correctly align the window.

Window Regulator Assembly

SERVICE PROCEDURE

1.

Remove the front door finisher assembly.

2.

Remove the window regulator assembly (Figure 2).

3.

Drill out the spacer spot welds, then remove the spacer from the regulator tracks (Figure 2).
