Thermostatic Air Cleaner Vacuum Switch: Testing and Inspection

While the engine is cool and idling, disconnect the inlet vacuum hose of the vacuum motor and make sure that intake manifold vacuum is present
at the end of the vacuum hose. If vacuum is weak or is not present at all, check the vacuum hose for leakage. Replace the temperature sensor if the
vacuum hoses are in good order. And after the engine warms up, make sure that no vacuum is present there. If any, replace the temperature sensor.
