Water Pump: Service and Repair

1.

Disconnect battery ground cable and drain cooling system.

2.

Remove power steering drive belt and the power steering oil pump.

3.

Remove alternator drive belt.

4.

Loosen alternator attaching bolts and push alternator toward engine.

5.

Remove water pump pulley, then the water pump and gasket.

6.

Reverse procedure to install, using new gasket.
