Try and remove the dipstick blade by using a small seal pick to gently lift the black 0-ring upward.

Pull the 0-ring towards the wall of the tube. (See Figure 2)

If the 0-ring comes off the shaft, the blade will fall to the bottom of the oil pan. This is OK.

You can the use a shop vac to pull the broken blade from the tube.
NOTE:
This vacuum removal procedure will work only if the 0-ring can be removed from the dipstick blade.

Turn on the shop vac. Wrap one hand around the dipstick tube and the shop vac nozzle to form a seal around the dipstick tube. (See Figure 3)
Alternate Sealing Method

If you can't get a good seal (with your hand), wrap a plastic bag around the dipstick tube to provide a better seal. (See Figure 4)
