INTRODUCTION

Some 1997 Sentra sedans built in the Aguascalientes, Mexico assembly plant were shipped without rear door side pads. These vehicles should have these
pads installed in both rear doors.

IDENTIFICATION NUMBER

Nissan has assigned identification number 97V-110 to this campaign. This number must appear on all communications and documentation of any nature
dealing with this campaign.

NUMBER OF VEHICLES POTENTIALLY AFFECTED

Approximately 750.

DEALER RESPONSIBILITY

It is the dealer's responsibility to check each vehicle falling within the range of this campaign which for any reason enters the service department. This
includes vehicles purchased from private parties or presented by transient (tourist) owners and vehicles in dealer inventory. Federal law requires that new
vehicles in dealer inventory which are the subject of a safety recall must be corrected prior to sale. Failure to do so can result in civil penalties by the
National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. While the federal law applies only to new cars, Nissan strongly encourages dealers to correct any used
cars in their inventory prior to sale.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

If you have vehicles in inventory that fall within the VIN range above, use SERVICE-COMM to confirm that the vehicles require this procedure.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

Perform the following procedure for the rear doors only.

Disassembly

Turn the dome light switch to the "OFF" position.
