CAUTION:

Depress pedal slowly when raising front brake pressure.

Check rear brake pressure 2 seconds after front brake pressure reaches specified value.

3. If output pressure is out of specifications, replace master cylinder See: Brake Master Cylinder/Service and Repair as an assembly.

NOTE:

Carefully monitor brake fluid level at master cylinder.

^

Use new "DOT 3" brake fluid.

^

Never reuse drained brake fluid.

4. Bleed air from the hydraulic system after disconnecting the brake fluid pressure gauge. See: Brake Bleeding/Service and Repair
