Drive Belt: Testing and Inspection

Checking Drive Belts

1. Inspect for cracks, fraying, wear or oil. If necessary, replace with a new one.
2. Inspect drive belt deflections by pushing midway between pulleys.

Inspect drive belt deflections when engine is cold.

Adjust if belt deflections exceed the limit.
