Flywheel: Testing and Inspection

RUNOUT

^ Check the drive plate for deformation or cracks.
^ Do not allow any magnetic materials to contact the ring gear teeth.
^ Do not resurface the flywheel. Replace as necessary.
^ The runout (total indicator reading) is less than 0.15 mm (0.0059 inch).

CAUTION:  Be careful not to damage the ring gear teeth.
