CORROSION REPAIR

APPLIED VEHICLES: 
1989-94 Maxima (J30)
1990-92 Stanza (U12)

INTRODUCTION

Use the procedures in this Body Shop Guide to repair the applied vehicles as instructed by the dealership.

To repair the corrosion on these vehicles this guide includes four separate repair operations;

Operations 2 through 5 - all are performed at the body shop. These repair operations provide complete, in-depth instructions for all repairs performed by
the body shop.

The repair operations are as follows:

Operation 2, Sandblast and Prime Outer Wheel House Panel

Operation 3, Repair Perforations on Outer Wheel House Panel with Resin Patches

Operation 4, Install Seat Belt Anchor Plate

Operation 5, Replace Complete Wheel House

Operation 1 will be performed at the dealership.

There is a Final Inspection performed at the dealership to check the quality of all body shop work on this campaign. There are copies of the Final
Inspection Checklists on pages iv and v for your information.
