Rear Oil Seal Cleaning

4. Remove traces of liquid gasket using scraper.

5. Remove seal from retainer.

6. Apply engine oil to new oil seal and install it using a suitable tool.

Prep Of Rear Seal Retainer

7. Apply liquid gasket to retainer.
8. Install rear oil seal. Torque bolts to: 7 - 8 N-m (5.1 - 5.8 ft.lb.)
9. Install flywheel or drive plate.

10. Torque bolts to:

Drive Plate:93 - 103 N-m (69 - 76 ft.lb.)
