SERVICE INFORMATION

Some 1987 Stanza vehicles may have warped hood louver assemblies. Use the following Service Procedure to correct the shape of the louver.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

FIGURE 1 - HOOD LOUVER

1.

Remove the hood louver by removing the three nuts and plastic spacers on the underside of the hood (Figure 1).

FIGURE 2 - HEAT APPLICATION

Heat the bottom of the louver evenly to 80~ - 104~F (30~ - 40~C) with a heat gun (Figure 2).
