If the noise is still there, continue with this repair procedure.

Completely lower the window.

Remove the door finisher from the door the noise is coming from.

Refer to section EI in the Service Manual (ESM) for door finisher removal information.

NOTE:

The following tips will be helpful when removing the door finisher.

If the outside temperature is below freezing, 0°C (32°F), park the vehicle inside and wait until the vehicle has warmed to room
temperature. This will help prevent breakage of plastic trim parts.

There is a small notch in the bottom rear of the pull handle cover. Use a small flat blade screwdriver at this notch to pop the cover off (see
Figure 5).
