Reposition lid spring on the guide pins as shown in Figure 1.

Slide nylon washer onto the screw, then insert spring retention screw into the guide pin and tighten the screw into place (see Figure 2).

5.

Repeat steps 3 and 4 for the other side.

6.

Reinstall the cup holder/console finisher in reverse order of removal.

7.

Check the cup holder lid to make sure it correctly operates and the incident is resolved.
