Disconnect connector F9 (see Figure 1).

Connector F9 is located on the right side (passenger side) of the transmission.

Inspect the connector for water or corrosion.

If no water or corrosion is found in the connector, this bulletin does not apply. Go back to ASIST for further diagnostics and repair
information.

If there is water or corrosion in the connector, complete steps 3 and 4.
3.
Replace the A/T assembly Harness Connector (see Figure 2).

Use the new connector listed in the Parts information.
^
The transmission valve body will need to be removed to replace this connector.

Refer to section A/T in the Service Manual (ESM) as needed for connector replacement information.
