7.
Remove the engine cover and replace the following parts (see Figures 1 and 2):
^
EVAP canister purge volume control solenoid valve (with bracket).
^
Service port.
NOTES:
^
Use the new parts listed in the Parts Information.
^
Make sure to move the rubber grommet from the old bracket to the new bracket (see Figure 1).
^
Make sure the Service Port is installed in the correct direction (see Figure 3).
8.
Repeat steps 1, 2, and 3 to verify the slight "knocking" noise is gone.
9.
Reinstall the engine cover.
10.
Erase any DTC's that may have been stored during the procedure.
