Removal and Installation

REMOVAL
1. Remove engine room cover using power tool. Refer to See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine Cover.
2. Remove ignition coil. Refer to See: Powertrain Management/Ignition System/Ignition Coil/Service and Repair/Removal and Installation.

3. Remove spark plug using suitable tool.

INSPECTION AFTER REMOVAL

Do not use a wire brush for cleaning.

-

If plug tip is covered with carbon, spark plug cleaner may be used.

-

Checking and adjusting plug gap is not required between change intervals.

INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
