AXLE OIL SEAL

Removal and Installation

The axle oil seal and bearing ring retainer must be replaced every time the axle shaft is removed and installed. Refer to See: Axle Shaft
Assembly/Service and Repair/Rear Axle Shaft.

CAUTION:
Do not reuse the axle oil seal. The axle oil seal must be replaced every time the axle shaft assembly is removed from the axle shaft housing.
