Removal and Installation

ILLUMINATION CONTROL SWITCH

Removal
The illumination control switch (1) is replaced as a part of the combination meter assembly. Refer to See: Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning
Indicators/Instrument Cluster / Carrier/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement.

Installation
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

PERSONAL LAMP - TYPE B (if equipped)

Removal
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Using a suitable tool (A), release the pawls and remove the personal lamp lens (1).
3. Remove personal lamp screws (2).
4. Disconnect the connector, then remove personal lamp.

Installation
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

Bulb Replacement
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
