Removal
Remove the rear axle shaft assembly. Refer to See: Transmission and Drivetrain/Drive Axles, Bearings and Joints/Axle Shaft Assembly/Service and
Repair/Rear Axle Shaft.

NOTE:
It is necessary to disassemble the rear axle shaft assembly to replace the rear wheel sensor rotor.

Installation
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:
-

Do not reuse the old rear wheel sensor rotor.

Do not reuse the rear axle oil seal. The rear axle oil seal must be replaced every time the rear axle shaft assembly is removed from the
rear axle shaft housing.
