Steering Angle Sensor: Service and Repair

STEERING ANGLE SENSOR

Removal and Installation

REMOVAL
1. Remove spiral cable. Refer to See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Clockspring Assembly / Spiral Cable/Service and Repair.
2. Remove the screws and remove the steering angle sensor.

INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:
After installation of spiral cable, adjust steering angle sensor. Refer to See: Brakes and Traction Control/Antilock Brakes / Traction Control
