Position the clip so that the hinge is at the bottom and the latch is at the top.

Make sure the clip locks in place.

e) Confirm the seatback is in the upright position; adjust if needed.

f) Turn the recline lever knob clockwise until it stops.

g) Pull back (toward the back of the seat) the connecting rod as far as it will go, then insert it into the yellow clip.
