b. Hook the spring to the tab ("b") on the bracket.
c. Insert the spring in the slotted hole ("c") on the frame.
4. Apply Nissan Silicone Grease #999MP-AB002 or equivalent to all moving parts of the inner and outer brackets and their springs.

5. Attach the slide release handle to the brackets (see Figure 15).
a. Insert the slide release handle ("a") into both brackets where noted ("b") in Figure 15.

Make sure the grab portion of the slide release handle is upward (see "a", Figure 9).

Figure 15 shows the outer bracket only.
b. Push the slide release handle through the front holes of the brackets ("b"), and then into the rear holes ("c") until it snaps firmly into place (makes a
click noise).
6. Reinstall all finishers in reverse order of removal.
^ Refer to Step 4-6 at the beginning of service procedure as it applies to your type of seat.
7. Reinstall the seat in the vehicle.
^ For seat installation procedure, refer to the SEAT section of the appropriate ESM.
^ Do not use the slide release handle to lift the seat.
8. Verify the seat operates normally; make sure both tracks lock into place after fore / aft adjustment.
9. Reconnect both battery cables, negative cable last.
10. Reset / initialize all applied systems i.e., radio, clock, sunroof, etc.
