Installation Caution
To assure proper adhesion of the antenna "tail" and prevent water leaks, technicians must

Position the antenna "tail" very carefully and precisely at the rear window seal.

Correctly place butyl gum (3 pieces) and clear tape where the antenna wires enter the trunk.
SERVICE PROCEDURE
Antenna Tail Installation Tips
1.
The antenna wires must be centered in the grooves of the rubber antenna tail flap.
2.
The antenna wires go under the rear window rubber molding, and the rubber antenna tail flap goes over the window rubber molding.
3.
Always clean the roof panel with an alcohol paper "wipe" (or 50/50 water/alcohol solution) prior to installing antenna.
