Place the Lock Nut Wrench # J-45073-1 down on the axle lock nut (see Figure E8). Lock the wrench in place on the nut.

Using Lock Nut Wrench # J-45073-1, loosen and remove the axle locknut (see Figure E9).

Turn the nut counterclockwise to loosen.

Remove the lock washer and flat washer (below the nut).
