This is a service manual update to Section 8C, page 4 of the 1992-93 Achieva Service Manuals.
The following is to replace the general description for the "Check Gauges" indicator.
When the ignition switch is turned to the "RUN" position (engine off), the "CHECK GAUGES" indicator will illuminate until the engine is started or the
ignition switch is turned to the "OFF" or "LOCK" position. While driving, the indicator will illuminate under the following conditions:
1.
When coolant temperature exceeds 127~C (260~F),
2.
When oil pressure is below 27.6 kPa, (4 psi), or
3.
When fuel gauge reads "E" for empty.
