Pipe to 25 Nm (18 lbs. ft.)
5. Line retainer (if applicable).
6. Electrical connector to idle speed power steering pressure switch (if applicable).

Bleed air from system.
Gear Outlet hose
Remove
1. Gear outlet hose from pump reservoir after loosening hose clamp.
2. Line retainer (if applicable).
3. Gear inlet pipe from rack and pinion steering gear.
4. Rack and pinion steering gear clamp nuts and slide rack forward.
5. Gear outlet pipe from rack and pinion steering gear.
6. Gear outlet pipe and/or hose from vehicle.
Install
1. Gear outlet and/or hose into position on vehicle.
2. Gear outlet pipe to rack and pinion steering gear.
Tighten
Pipe to 27 Nm (20 lbs. ft.)
3. Rack and pinion steering gear clamp nuts after repositioning rack.
Tighten
Nuts to 37 Nm (27 lbs. ft.)
4. Gear inlet pipe to rack and pinion steering gear.
Tighten
Pipe to 27 Nm (20 lbs. ft.)
5. Line retainer (if applicable).
6. Gear outlet hose to pump reservoir and hose clamp.
Tighten
Nut to 1.7 Nm (lbs. ft.)

Bleed air from system and inspect for leaks.
