REVISED PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH REMOVAL AND INSTALL PROCEDURE
MODEL/YEARS:
1992-93 ACHIEVA WITH THE 3300 ENGINE AND 3T40 TRANSAXLE
This bulletin replaces the "Park/Neutral Position Switch" procedure in Section 7A of the 1992 and 1993 service manuals.
The following procedure should be used:
Remove or Disconnect
1.
Raise vehicle and suitably support, refer to Section 0A.
2.
Lower heater pipe bracket bolt.
3.
Position vacuum hose aside.
4.
Lower vehicle.
5.
Pry off shift linkage.
6.
Electrical connectors.
7.
Park neutral position switch.
Install or Connect
1.
Park/neutral position switch.
2.
Electrical connector.
3.
Shift linkage.
4.
Raise vehicle.
5.
Vacuum hose.
6.
Lower heater pipe bracket bolt.
7.
Lower vehicle.
