Power Window Motor: Service and Repair
Window Regulator

Regulator

Remove or Disconnect

1. Door trim panel. 
2. Water deflector. 
3. Door window assembly. 
4. Bolts (5).
5. Two nuts securing upper regulator guide.
6. Rivets (3) using a 1/4" drill to drill out rivets.
7. Electrical connector (2) from motor if present.
8. Regulator (1) through large access hole in inner door panel.

Install or Connect

1. Regulator (1).
2. Electrical connector (2) if present.
3. Rivets (3) while holding regulator to inner door panel.
4. Bolts (5).
5. Upper guide. Tighten nuts to 5 N.m (44 lbs. in.).
6. Door window assembly.
7. Water deflector.
8. Door trim panel.
