Alero L4-144 2.4L DOHC VIN T SFI (2000)
1. Install the lock cylinder (2) to the handle assembly (1).
2. Install the rods (3) to the handle assembly (1).
3. Guide the handle and rods as an assembly, through the door handle opening in the door.
4. Install the outside door handle nut (3) and bracket.
5. Install the door outside locking rod (1) to the door lock actuator.
6. Install the outside door handle rod (2) to the door lock actuator.
7. Install the door water deflector.
8. Install the door trim panel. For front doors refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Pontiac) Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement
(Oldsmobile). For rear doors refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Pontiac) Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Oldsmobile).
9. Inspect the door lock system for proper operation.
