Hood Primary Latch Striker Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Open the hood (2).
2. Remove the hood latch striker retaining bolts (3).
3. Remove the hood latch striker (1).

Installation Procedure

1. Install the hood latch striker (1).
2. Install the hood latch striker retaining bolts (3).

Notice:  Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Align the hood primary latch striker to the hood primary and secondary latch.

Tighten the bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

4. Close the hood.
