Alero L4-144 2.4L DOHC VIN T SFI (2000)
2. Cut the retainer clips off of the rear posts.
3. Remove the overhead console (1) from the headliner.
Installation Procedure
1. Position the overhead console (1) into the headliner.
2. Push two new retainer clips onto the console rear attaching posts.
3. Install the headliner.
Trim Plate Replacement - Console (Alero - Manual Transaxle)
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Unsnap the shift boot tastener.
2. Use a flat blade tool in order to unsanap the accessory trim plate.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector for the ETS switch.
4. Compress the ETS retainers to remove it from the trim panel.
