Alero L4-144 2.4L DOHC VIN T SFI (2000)
1. Remove the Brake Modulator Assembly. Refer to Brake Modulator Assembly Replacement.
2. Remove the Torx(R) head screws (5) that attach the gear cover.
3. Remove the gear cover (4).
Installation Procedure
1. Install the gear cover (4) onto the modulator assembly.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
2. Install the Torx(R) head screws (5).

Tighten the Torx(R) screws to 4 Nm (36 inch lbs.).
3. Install the Brake Modulator Assembly. Refer to Brake Modulator Assembly Replacement.
