4. Lubricate the piston boot (1) with clean brake fluid.
5. Install the lubricated boot (1) onto the piston (2).
6. Lubricate the piston OD with clean brake fluid.
7. Install the piston and the boot into the bore of the caliper. Push the piston to the bottom of the bore.
8. Seat the caliper boot in the caliper housing (1) counterbore using J36349.
9. Install the front brake caliper. Refer to Brake Caliper Replacement- Front.
Rear
Disassembly Procedure
1. Remove the rear brake caliper. Refer to Brake Caliper Replacement - Rear.
Caution: Do not place your fingers In front of the piston in order to catch or protect the piston while applying compressed air. This could
result in serious injury.
