Alero L4-144 2.4L DOHC VIN T SFI (2000)
Installation Procedure
1. Install the parking brake shoe and lining.
2. Install the parking brake actuator (2).
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
3. Install the parking brake bracket (5) to the support plate (4).

Tighten the support plate bolts (6) to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).
4. Install the rear wheel hub assembly. Refer to Wheel Bearing/Hub Replacement - Rear (Drum Brakes) or Wheel Bearing/Hub Replacement - Rear
(Disc Brakes).
5. Install the cable (2) to the actuator lever.
