Alero L4-144 2.4L DOHC VIN T SFI (2000)
1. Install the rear engine mount bracket.
2. Install the bracket to engine retaining bolts.
2.1.
Tighten the side of the block engine retaining bolts to 58 Nm (43 ft. lbs.).
2.2.
Tighten the front of the block engine retaining bolts to 102 Nm (75 ft. lbs.)
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
3. Install the transaxle retaining bolts on the rear engine mount bracket.

Tighten the transaxle retaining bolts to 75 Nm (55 ft. lbs.).
4. Lower the vehicle.
5. Remove the J 28467-360.
6. Remove the J 28467-90.
7. Remove the J 36462.
8. Remove the J 35953.
9. Lower the engine.
10. Raise the vehicle. Suitable support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
11. Install the rear engine mount nuts on the rear engine mount bracket. Refer to Engine Mount Replacement.
12. Install the generator. Refer to Generator Replacement in Starting and Charging.
13. Install the right front tire and wheel assembly.
14. Lower the vehicle.
15. Install the electric engine cooling fan. Refer to Cooling Fan Replacement - Electric in Cooling System.
16. Install the hood panel. Refer to Hood Replacement in Body and Frame.
