Mode Actuator Replacement
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the instrument panel (IP) carrier.
2. Disconnect the yellow vacuum hose (1) and red vacuum hose (2) from the mode actuator.
Note the location of the hoses.
3. Remove the air inlet actuator.
3.1.
Lift the actuator lock tab.
3.2.
Slide off the actuator.
4. Remove the actuator linkage from the mode valve fever.
Squeeze the tabs on the lever in order to remove the linkage.
