5. Disconnect the 11 pin harness connector for the Ignition Control Module (ICM).
6. Remove the bolts from the ignition coil and the ICM assembly-to-camshaft housing.
NOTE: Spark plug boots often adhere to the spark plugs. Use tool J 36011 in order to remove by first twisting and then pulling upward on retainers.
Reinstall the boots and the retainers on the ignition coil housing secondary terminals. The boots and the retainers must be in place on the ignition coil
housing secondary terminals prior to the ignition coil and the electronic ignition control module assembly installation or ignition control system
damage may result.
7. Remove the ignition coil and ICM assembly from the engine.
8. Remove the screws that retain the housing to the cover.
