Alero L4-144 2.4L DOHC VIN T SFI (2000)
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. If removed, install the service port valve core using J 34611-A.
2. Install a NEW O-ring seal in the refrigerant pressure sensor.
Coat the O-ring seal with 525 viscosity refrigerant oil.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
3. Install the pressure sensor to the fitting.
Tighten
Tighten the sensor to 5 N.m (44 lb in).
4. Connect the refrigerant pressure sensor electrical connector.
5. Recharge the A/C system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging. See: Heating and Air Conditioning/Refrigerant/Service and Repair
6. Inspect the system operation.
7. Perform the leak test. Refer to Leak Testing.
