Washer Fluid Level Switch: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
2. Remove the left splash shield from the vehicle.
3. Remove the air intake duct from the vehicle.
4. Remove the connector from the washer solvent level sensor.

IMPORTANT:  The washer solvent will drain from the container when the sensor is removed. Place a suitable drain pan under the container before
removing the sensor.

5. Remove the solvent level sensor and seal from the washer solvent container.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Install the seal in the washer solvent container.
2. Install the solvent level sensor in the solvent container.
3. Connect the connector to the solvent level sensor.
4. Install the air intake duct onto the vehicle.
5. Install the left splash shield onto the vehicle.
6. Lower the vehicle.
