Aurora V6-214 3.5L VIN H SFI (2001)
7. Apply Loctite(R) Blue GM P/N 12345382 or Canadian P/N 10953489, or equivalent to the intermediate door hinge fasteners (1).
8. Install the intermediate door hinge fasteners.
Tighten the intermediate front door hinge fasteners (1) to 24 Nm (18 lb ft).
9. Install the door check link. Refer to Door Check Link Replacement (See: Front Door Limiter/Service and Repair).
10. Touch up any paint damage to the hinge and the check link fasteners with body color paint.
11. Install the door wire harness through the opening in the front of the door.
12. Install the wiring harness retainers (2) into the holes in the door.
13. Connect the power window motor electrical connector.
14. Install the door latch electrical connectors (2).
15. Install the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement See: Front Door Panel/Service and Repair
16. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement See: Front Door Panel/Service and Repair
Notice: Striker alignment is a crucial part of door latch operation. Do not use the door striker to adjust the door to the vehicle. Failure to properly
adjust the striker can result in damage to the door latch and the striker.
17. Adjust the door for proper alignment. Refer to Door Adjustment (See: Adjustments).
